Metal, Clay and Acrylic

In these final days of my residency, the classes are now concentrating mostly in clay sculpture and finishing the metal works. One of my designs with the two horses was cut by Rick and me and then assembled by several willing students. While finishing their works, other students had the opportunity to do a little extra work on special projects like painting and clay works. The back room of the art room is quickly filling with clay waiting to be fired and glazed. It is a great way to end the school year while trying to maintain enthusiasm and avoiding Senioritus!
