Changing Direction

One of the ideas I had for students on my last day of this class was to turn paintings upside down. This process allows us to forget the object we are painting and instead relate back to the images, colors, shapes and direction of brush stroke. For many of us, this takes us out of our comfort zone but it is a good process to incorporate into any form of artwork.
